Fall 2025

The Houses of Pickleball (HOP) League is a traveling Pickleball league to compete against other teams at other clubs.

Each “team” plays 3-4 away games at other clubs and hosts one at home. The season is Fall and Winter, starting September 2025. A playoff if you make it, will battle for the HOP League iron throne.

The league play is “Team format”, 2 men and 2 women and a team for each DUPR division as noted below.

  • The HOP League is set to kick off its inaugural season in September 2025, bringing together pickleball enthusiasts for a thrilling competitive experience. Running through the Fall and Winter months, the league will provide a platform for players of all skill levels to showcase their talent, make new friends, and enjoy the vibrant pickleball community.

    Participants can expect organized matches, skill-based divisions, and plenty of opportunities for fun and camaraderie. With engaging events planned throughout the season, the HOP League aims to foster a spirit of sportsmanship and teamwork among all players.

    • Each team consists of 2 men and 2 women and competes within their assigned DUPR division (12, 14, 16, 18).

    • Teams are set to play four away games at other clubs while also hosting one home game during the season.

    • Matches stick to an MLP-style format and scoring, which includes Men's Doubles, Women's Doubles, and two Mixed Doubles matches—no singles or dreambreaker rounds involved.

    • This structure not only fosters teamwork but also guarantees a fun and competitive atmosphere that keeps everyone on their toes. Get ready for an exciting season of pickleball!

  • Team captains coordinate match times and book two courts at their club for home games. The HOP team does not set a fixed match schedule.

  • Each team will select a name and coordinate team attire. HOP League T-shirts (in a team-selected color) are included in the league registration cost.

  • The goal is to have 8 clubs enrolled by Summer 2025. Currently, the following clubs are committed:

    • Armory Pickleball, Bellingham

    • Side Out, Everett

    • Side Out, Rainier Valley

    • The Drop, Tacoma
